I am an Ofsted registered childminders and offer quality care in a warm and friendly environment at affordable rates. I have 3 grown up children of my own. I have over 10 years of child minding experience. I am also NVQ3 qualified. We have two very friendly dogs and keep chickens at the end of our garden.
My aim is to provide the children with experiences and opportunities to enable them to grow and develop to their full potential within the current Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.Children learn through play for which I provide a wide range of toys and activities suitable from birth to five years. The children are taken on outings to toddler groups, parks, farms and soft play centres to build their social skills and develop new relationships with other children. Routine is also part of my business as this helps the children to understand the concept of time and promotes a sense of security and comfort particularly in the beginning as some children suffer with separation anxiety. I always encourage a settling in period of at least two weeks before a child is due to start in my care.
I recognize the importance of parental involvement in a child’s early years and look forward to working together as a team to meet your child(ren)’s full potential.
