I am an Ofsted registered childminder and offer quality care in a warm and friendly environment at affordable rates. I have 3 grown up children of my own. I have over 10 years of child minding experience. I am also NVQ3 qualified. We have two very friendly dogs and keep chickens at the end of our garden.
I have gained many qualifications over the years, including;
I worked previously for a multi national company Cadbury Schweppes as an Exports/ Imports Co-ordinater from 1986 to Dec 2004. After changes within the business and redundancies made I decided to work from home to enable me to be available for my children with my youngest just starting school.
I have been Ofsted registered since Jan 2005 . I have CRB Enhanced clearance and a current paediatric first aid certificate.
I have completed all 5 Units of the CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Home-based Childcare and NVQ Level 3 in Childcare , Learning and Development.
I am fully insured with and a member of the NCMA (National Childminding Association).
I run my childcare business from my home which I consider to be warm, friendly and inviting. I pride myself on having a safe, clean and smoke free home. I have a large enclosed garden full of equipment and toys, which is always open to the children. I am within walking distance of parks, library, duck pond, a children's centre and local shops, and a frequent visitor to all of them!
